About
My name is Marie Petre
I have practiced law both in house and in private practice in an international setting for over two decades.
I was General Counsel of the global office of GS1, a supply chain standards organisation, for almost 8 years. Prior to that I was an attorney in international law firms for 15 years, advising companies in the life sciences and tech sectors on corporate and commercial law issues.

Today, I leverage this experience to support organisations on strategic, legal and compliance questions in the area of sustainability, responsible business practices and collaborative initiatives (standards, consortia, joint ventures).

I am an attorney (avocat/advocaat/rechtsanwalt) registered with the Brussels Bar (Barreau de Bruxelles - Ordre Français des Avocats).

I am fluent in French, English and Dutch.
